Affectionately nicknamed ‘The Sloaney Pony,’ The White Horse is an iconic London pub perched on the edge of picturesque Parson’s Green.
According to The Spectator, which first mentioned the pub in 1712, The White Horse was a popular destination for ale tapping during the annual Parson's Green Fair. Previously, a coaching inn existed on the site of this now historic site as early as 1688, and though destroyed by fire and rebuilt at least twice, The White Horse of today has been lovingly restored to its Victorian grandeur.
With hundreds of beers to choose from – tap, bottle, cask, or can – The White Horse is a Cerevisaphile’s dream come true.
Voted as the best place to drink in the UK, on more than one occasion, The White Horse was also the meeting place of the old Fulham Albion Cricket Club, one of England’s pioneering cricket clubs. And it still retains a close link to the sporting world today, as a great spot to watch the rugby.
As part of London Beer Week, The White Horse will be transformed into the first ever LBW Craft Beer Hub to celebrate the amazing London brewing scene, coinciding with St. Patrick’s Day and the conclusion of Six Nations. With a daily changing menu of over 40 hop-forward, session-strength beers available to taste there's always a good reason to pop back and taste a different flight, be it cask (at £4 for three) or keg (at £5 for three).
Nowhere else in the capital will you find this many London craft breweries under one roof.
