Black Cow Vodka, the world's first vodka to be made entirely from milk, is launching a 'Waste Not Want Not' series by partnering with chefs across the UK. Black Cow has asked them to create recipes that people can recreate at home using ingredients which might otherwise go to waste, helping you not only cook up something different in the kitchen (not sure what to do with that third loaf of sourdough?) whilst also being good to the planet.
Tune into Black Cow Vodka's Instagram every Wednesday at 6pm to catch the chef of the week's video - it will then be available to watch on Black Cow's IGTV channel @BlackCowVodk and website. Featured chefs so far include Mark Hix, and Mitshel Ibrahim of Ombra in London.
To add to the feel good factor Black Cow Vodka has launched the series to support chefs who have been impacted by the COVID-19 crisis, and will be making a donation to the chef or to a charity of their choice. There will also be opportunities to win a meal for two at some of the participating chefs' restaurants once they reopen so make sure to get involved!
The series will initially run for 10 weeks, with the following chefs confirmed, more to be announced:

The award-winning Black Cow Vodka, which was first launched by Paul Archard and dairy farmer Jason Barber in 2012, is the only vodka made entirely from whey from grass-grazed cow’s milk left over from the cheese-making process. This is fermented to convert the milk sugars into alcohol that is distilled, blended and filtered through coconut-shell charcoal, producing an exceptionally smooth vodka with a unique creamy character.
