Built in 1881 by the Harvey Brothers and a cult name in whisky since the 1960s, Bruichladdich distillery sits opposite the western shore of Loch Indaal on Islay, an island revered around the world for the distinctly peaty character running through most of its whisky.
Bruichladdich, self-described as ‘progressive Hebridean distillers’, is proud to be non-conformist. Its namesake single malt – revered for its elegant and floral spirit – is and always will be completely un-peated, but sits alongside the distillery’s Octomore, which is the world’s most heavily-peated single malt. Made with Victorian-era equipment, exclusively Scottish barley, and entirely within their grounds on Islay, each of Bruichladdich’s whiskies is proudly different.
We invite you to try a selection of brand new releases and old favourites under the tutelage of Bruichladdich Head Distiller Adam Hannett, who will guide you through all the factors that make the distillery unique.

About The Host
Adam spent 12 years being mentored by industry legend and previous Bruichladdich master distiller Jim McEwan, and has done just about every job in the distillery along the way. Now Head Distiller, and holder of the world record for largest-ever whisky tasting, Adam is well and truly pushing boundaries whilst also keeping the traditional methods of Bruichladdich alive. We are delighted to host him for what will be an unforgettable evening.
