Brought to life by the people behind In Night’s Darkling Glory and The Great Christmas Feast, The Lost Love Speakeasy has become London’s go-to secret bar, a place where guests sip on illicit prohibition cocktails, indulge in food from the streets of Manhattan and lose themselves in a heart-braking tale from the height of the Jazz Age.

Hidden near London Bridge, the Speakeasy invites guests to immerse themselves in a role (Artists & Bohemians, Flappers & Gangsters or Tycoons & Movie Stars), dress to the nines, and join the beautiful and damned of New York, for one-night only. The experience stars Stella, the Lost Love’s infamous patroness, and her house band, The Lost Love Rhythm Kings, a group whose burning sound and outrageous solos have made the Speakeasy Manhattan’s most desired night out. King Ollie, the Lost Love’s band leader is, in fact, none other than Jamie Cullum’s own Music Director, Rory Simmons…

The feasting comes courtesy of Temper Restaurants Head Chef Neil Rankin, who has put his legendary open-fire spin on some American classics. There are three menus to choose from, including a six-course tasting menu for Tycoons & Movie Stars. Guests will dine on dishes like Shorty’s Catch, watermelon, tuna, grapefruit, sesame, Hoppin’ John; Oyster and Pickleback, baked oyster, habanero mornay, pickles, Four Roses Bourbon, Steak Dinner, sirloin, ox cheek, blue cheese mash, gumbo; and New York Beignet, cheesecake, salted bourbon caramel.

The drinks menu is a series of prohibition classics with twists inspired by the show. There are cocktails to suit all taste buds, from Bees Knees On The Wild Side, gin wildflower honey, lemon, bee pollen syrup, lavender, egg white to Spice ’N Smoke Old Fashioned, Four Roses Bourbon, Ancho Reyes Chilli Liqueur, Habanero bitters, chamomile, to the notorious sharing cocktail The Crossroads Demon mezcal, gin, raspberry, lemon, nutmeg. There is also an additional bar menu that features sparkling, white, red wines and Fourpure beers.
