The Singleton’s ‘Supper With A Side of Humour’ events will bring together a perfect blend of Whiskies that are designed to be unapologetically enjoyed, with live comedy and a bespoke three-course menu cooked up by award-winning chef, Calum Franklin.
Enjoy a fun and nostalgic menu, starting with a delicious Whisky cured salmon and asparagus terrine on toast, followed by a tongue tantalising curry pie and chips with a difference; slow cooked curried lamb shoulder, onion and potato pie wrapped in a domed shortcrust pie case and accompanied by ‘chip shop’ style curry sauce. For dessert, you will feast on jelly and ice cream with a twist; a Singleton infused jelly dome, suspending summer berries within it, and sat on a hazelnut ice cream and Genoise sponge sandwich*.
The creative menu will be paired with an innovative selection of specially formulated Whisky cocktails, created by leading mixologist Ervin Trykowski. From ‘The Singleton Seaside Soda’ to a ‘Trade Route’ and ‘Scotch Mist’, all of the bespoke drinks are designed to be unapologetically enjoyed.
Also on hand to make you laugh throughout the evening is comedian Jack Barry, an Edinburgh Fringe regular whose effortlessly funny stand-up landed him a slot on Sky’s The Russell Howard Hour and supporting slots with the likes of James Acaster and Joe Lycett.
