Fairmont Classics Perfected – The Decades

Our friends at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts - home to some of the best bars in the world including London’s own Savoy, a Fairmont Managed Hotel - tasked their talented tastemakers with the challenge of creating a menu of ten classic cocktails that could be served across the globe. So whether you pull up a bar stool in London, Singapore or Rio de Janeiro, you can order one of their perfectly made drinks and be transported to the golden age of cocktails… and the best bit!? This impressive cocktail menu has just launched and we’ve got a first look!

Classics Perfected is exactly what it sounds like - a selection of beautiful cocktails with a touch of modern flavours that you can now get almost anywhere in the world… impressive right!? Creating ten drinks that embody all that is extraordinary about the Fairmont group and showcasing these in over seventy five of their addresses was no easy feat.

The Tastemakers convened at the award-winning Dead Rabbit in New York in April last year, tasked with refreshing the global cocktail programme whilst paying homage to the heritage of Fairmont’s legendary bars. They sipped, sampled and brainstormed until they were content that they had picked the perfect drinks to convey the influence of cocktail culture over the past two centuries. 

Taking inspiration from these recipes, the next step was to add new and enticing ingredients, making sure they were available at all the hotels… the result is a gorgeous, elegant cocktail menu that focusses on the most important thing - the liquid. All served by the attentive and passionate bartenders in this outstanding hotel group.
