Loire Valley Wines at London Wine Week

From the perfect spring wine to a 'pub' quiz for winos - Loire Valley Wines are bringing the fun this #LWW18

The Loire Valley, one of France’s most iconic and celebrated wine regions - home to the crisp whites of Muscadet, golden nectar desert wines from Vouvray, fruity rosés from Anjou and elegant sparkling wines such as Crémant de Loire amongst many others, it’s undeniably the most diverse, and this LWW you’ll have the chance to try them all…

All week long…
The Muscadet truck will be taking up residence at our Hub at Flat Iron Square. Easy drinking, crisp white, refreshing wines – the perfect summer thirst quencher – will be on the menu from just £5 with your Festival Pass, complete with suggestions of food pairing from the Food Arch  - chicken wings from Mother Clucker for us please.

Bedales of Borough, Leadenhall and Spitalfields are hosting 'The "Pub" Quiz for Winos' - a flight of three wines, poured 'blind' with special Loire-themed trivia (guess the grape, guess the appellation, weird and wonderful facts…), for just £5 with your Festival Pass and a bottle of wine up for grabs if you get the highest score across the week…

If you’re partial to an oyster or twelve…
Wright Bros and Loire Valley Wines are pairing up to bring you a double whammy masterclass featuring Oyster Masters to teach you all about how to make the most of this delicacy and Loire Valley winemakers to show you the best wines to serve alongside.

With two sessions - Thurs 6pm at Soho or Sunday 12pm at Battersea - for just £30 you will be served twelve oysters, served and cooked in every way possible, matched to six different Loire wines; the perfect treat for London Wine Week!

Fancy a decadent dinner?
Wine and food from opposite sides of the planet meet in a unique culinary pairing experience…

Head to the exuberantly-decorated private dining room of Coya Angel Court on Friday 18th for a slap-up meal - six courses of their celebrated contemporary Peruvian cuisine paired to Loire Valley wines for just £75. See the full menu here.
