To celebrate everyone’s favourite Scottish poet, The Sun Tavern wil be serving up a special Scotch heavy cocktail and free haggis scotch eggs, all to be enjoyed alongside renditions of Burns’ finest poems and a Scottish DJ into the wee hours this Burns Night!
It’s the time of year to pay homage to the great Rabbie Burns – waxer lyrical on haggis, mice and red, red roses.
Come and raise a dram at this specialist whiskey bar and enjoy their Glennfiddich IPA cocktail, in tribute to the Ploughman Poet. Available on Burns Night and every Wednesday throughout January, the Tam o’ Shanter brings together Glenfiddich IPA, Cocchi Torino, Dolin dry, cardamom syrup & Abbott’s bitters to create a drink of depth. For those who prefer their scotch a little neater, The Sun Tavern’s award-winning whiskey list will also be on hand.
As it is tradition to have a Burns supper and ‘address the haggis’, The Sun will also be serving up Haggis Scotch Eggs for FREE!
Expect Tastes Of Ink performing some spoken word of a rendition or two of Burns’ finest pieces, and to round it all off, legendary Scottish indie singer Rennie from The View will be DJing until the wee hours.
