New Quebec Street will become home to Marylebone Gin’s first ever pop-up bar, dedicated to the locally-distilled British spirit. The Marylebone Gin X New Quebec Street takeover will feature an exciting programme of masterclasses, talks and a special Saturday brunch throughout its two-week duration.
Demonstrating that Christmas is not just for mulled wine and eggnog, guests will be able to celebrate the party season in style in a botanical wonderland inspired by Marylebone’s fashionable 18th Century pleasure garden, providing a unique space for work team outings or drinks with friends during the festive period. The botanicals that grew in these historical gardens are captured in Marylebone Gin’s unique flavour and aroma.
In addition to a drop-in gin bar, there will be a host of experiences to enjoy that shine a spotlight on Britain’s favourite spirit; A ‘Gin at Home’ masterclass will see experienced mixologists de-mystify cocktail techniques, which participants can then re-create at home. Gin-lovers will have the chance to learn about the ‘History of Gin’ in an in-depth talk, whilst enjoying a welcome drink and tastings. On Saturdays, guests can attend an exclusive Bloody Mary Brunch in partnership with Bloody Bens, featuring specially curated food pairings by neighbouring restaurant, Boxcar Butcher & Grill. For a mid-week treat, The Grazing Goat will be serving food pairings to accompany gin tastings on Wednesdays.
Entry into the gin bar is free and tickets for the masterclasses and brunch can be bought here.
