On the 3rd and 5th of October, Erika Duffy (cocktail curator at Edinburgh's Bramble, Lucky Liquor and Last Word) will guide you through the intricate world of coffee and the reasons behind it being a match made from heaven with Courvoisier cognacs. Guests will get to smell and taste different coffees with a paired tasting of VSOP. The Walrus Room's Alfonso and Simone, will also be designing a menu of cocktails around coffee aromas and talking guests through their creations and why our VSOP is the perfect fit. Courvoisier Global Ambassador Rebecca Asseline will also be on hand to provide her expertise and insight.
On the 4th of October, Cocktail Historian extraordinaire Anistatia Miller will take you through the world of cognac and rum through their Classic cocktails and History. Anistatia will highlight their similarities and explain why cognac and rum make equally interesting base for famous recipes. The talk will be followed by a blind tasting between rums and cognacs hosted by Courvoisier Global Ambassador Rebecca Asseline.
